Blue Heron Software Ltd. History
Blue Heron Software Company Ltd. is a relatively young company. We commenced business in May 1995 as a software development company, primarily to develop an engineering automation tool for electrical and control system users.Blue Heron Software develops many diverse database applications. Our client list includes mining companies, municipal governments, fisheries management, and consulting engineers. Our products include Utility Billing and Property Control systems for municipal governments, membership and inventory tracking, fisheries management, project estimating, as well as a host of other applications for specific uses.
Windows / Intel / VisioSelection
With a multitude of products available, our first priority was to define the working environment for the company. After a significant amount of review and analysis we selected Microsoft as the focus for our development efforts. Blue Heron Software joined the Microsoft Solution Provider program in October 1995. Blue Heron Software joined the Visio business partner program in 1996.
